On August 22, 1995, in London, England, Dua Lipa was born. Since 2014, she’s been an active singer and songwriter, but she previously had a successful career as a model. Her parents are Anesa and Dukagjin Lipa, immigrants from Pristina, Yugoslavia (Kosovo) to the UK.
When Lipa was in high school, she started uploading original music to Soundcloud and YouTube. In addition to her originals, she posted covers of songs by Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera.
