Kacey Musgraves is a 33-year-old singer and songwriter from Golden, Texas. Born on August 21, 1988, Musgraves started her career in the late 2000s after joining forces with Triple Pop label founder Monte Robison. Musgraves has since released several successful country-pop albums, including Same Trailer Different Park, A Very Kacey Christmas, Pageant Material, Golden Hour, and, most recently, Star-Crossed.
Since the start of her career, she’s taken home several Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year (Golden Hour), Best Country Album (Same Trailer, Different Park), Best Country Song (“Space Cowboy”), and Best Country Solo Performance (“Butterflies”).
Musgraves has also worked with many big names, from Troye Sivan and Katy Perry to Miranda Lambert. She’s been signed to several labels over the years, including Interscope Records, MCA Nashville, and Mercury Nashville.
