• Faheem Najm, performing name T-Pain, has been married to Amber Najm (nee Wyatt) since 2003. The couple has three children together – Muziq, Lyriq, and Kaydnz Kodah.
• The singer is widely known for his recurrent use of auto-tune, a voice modulation software that is often used to hide flaws in a vocal performance. It has also been used by artists like Cher and Jennifer Lopez. However, as demonstrated by his NPR Tiny Desk Concert, T-Pain doesn’t need auto-tune to sound great. He’s an incredibly gifted vocalist who employs the use of auto-tune for artistic purposes.
• Other artists have taken issue with T-Pain’s use of auto-tune in his music. In Jay-Z’s single “D.O.A,” he directly criticizes T-Pain’s use of auto-tune. Usher also commented that T-Pain ruined music for “real singers,” which the musician himself said was the very moment that caused him to fall into a four-year depression in an interview with This Is Pop, an eight-part series that explores untold stories in pop music history.  That said, many other artists, like The Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg, and Diddy, have mimicked his style. 
• T-Pain loves gaming and, in recent years, has taken to streaming his gaming sessions via Twitch. Several of the singer’s many tattoos were inspired by his love for video games and internet memes.
• The 35-year-old singer was raised Muslim but no longer adheres to the tenets of the religion. He’s expressed distaste for organized religion in general, but he tends to keep spiritual and religious matters out of his music. 
• In 2007, T-Pain reached the very top of the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with Epiphany, a record that featured several hit singles – “Bartender,” “Buy U a Drank,” and “Church.” The album was certified Gold in the US by the RIAA.

• T-Pain has been featured in several films as himself, including Furious 7, The Boss, and Ghostmates. His voice also made a cameo in an episode of Tom & Jerry. He’s also been a guest on numerous comedy shows, including Robot Chicken, Comedy Bang! Bang!, The Eric Andre Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Saturday Night Live, and more.
• The singer has been nominated for a wide array of awards, including numerous BETs and BMIs. T-Pain’s Early Music

• T-Pain worked with a rap group called Nappy Headz and eventually signed to the Konvict Muzik label in 2003. 
• T-Pain’s debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga, was released in 2005 via Konvict. The album features guest appearances from Pitbull and Lil Wayne, and it debuted at No. 40 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, helping to make him a household name. The album’s two singles, “Sprung '' and “I’m ‘n Luv (Wit a Stripper),” both reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. The record was produced by T-Pain, Akon, and several others.

• His sophomore record, Epiphany, came out in 2007 and became his first to hit No. 1 on the US albums chart. The album includes guest appearances from Cham, Tay Dizm, Yung Joc, Akon, and Kardinal Offishall. 
• In 2007, T-Pain featured in four top ten singles within a two-week period. Throughout that year and the next, he collaborated with many artists, including “Good Life” with Kanye West, “Kiss Kiss” with Chris Brown, and some work with Rick Ross. 
• Thr33 Ringz, released in 2008, hit No. 4 on the Billboard albums chart and features Kanye West, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Ludacris, DJ Khaled, and others. These high-profile guest appearances and T-Pain’s growing star status helped to make the album’s tracks major hits.
